Florida Council for History Education (FLCHE) is pleased to announce a call to submit a proposal to present at our 10th Annual Conference to be held July 24 and July 25 at the Mission Resort + Club, Howie-In-The-Hills. FLCHE welcomes all submissions, but particularly presentations that reflect the theme, Innovation in History.

Conference Sessions:  All sessions present on July 25, will last 45 minutes, and should focus on building content knowledge, promoting history education and disciplinary literacy, the use of primary sources, and this year's conference theme.

Poster Sessions:   All sessions present on July 25.   Poster Session presenters engage with attendees in small groups over a 30-minute time block.  Your session will involve a poster display and optional technology.

The posters are usually a combination of text, tables, graphs, and visuals, summarizing research findings and/or resources. Some presenters choose to use a laptop on the table space to display videos, data, images, websites and resources, etc. Poster Session presenters have internet access, a 5 ft table with a black tablecloth, access to electricity (by request), and a cloth backdrop (pipe and drape) for displaying items for your session

The Poster Session tables are set-up in one row with enough space allocated for attendees to comfortably move around and view posters, with some elbow room for interaction. This set-up is designed for presenters to display posters on vertical panels or easels, allowing attendees to move around and view multiple posters simultaneously.
